"I'm so sorry to hear that." Steve hugs her.

Sally started shifting awkwardly.

Matt does his business, washes his hands, and when he opens the door, he trips and lands on Sydney. Thankfully, she was wrapped with a towel, but he was embarrassed

Sydney stared at Matt. "Umm.."

"Uh, sorry..." He awkwardly got off her. "It wasn't on purpose... if thats what your... er.. thinking..."

"Good...Good to know." Sydney liked him alot and moments like that were going to be rare in war.

"Well I gotta go now Sally. We'll meet some other time." Steve heads for the door.

"Okay." Sally yelled.

Steve left and ran back to the apartment. He entered. "Hey guys."

"Oh hey!" He felt awkward being next to Sydney naked covered..

Sydney turned quickly to him. She was still on the floor.

"I'm not going to ask." Steve sat down. He laughed.

Sydney got up. "Good time?"

"Good." He helped her up.

"I don't wanna talk about it." Steve lied down on the couch.

"Thanks Matt." Sydney still held on to him.

"Oh, thats right. Sydney told me you were on a date. how'd it go?" He said curiously.

Steve sighed. He knew they were together.

"I don't think he wants to talk about it." Sydney went to her room to change.

Steve sighed again. "Yeah I don't."

Sydney raided her closet. She stuck on an oversized marching band t-shirt and some underwear

"Its okay bud." Matt pats steve on the back. "She still might have SOME feeling for you."

"Yeah right." Steve sighed.

Sydney came back out. She felt the awkwardness in the room.

"She didn't like me. I could tell." Steve rolled over.

"Oh well...." Matt felt bad for Steve.

"I'm sorry." Sydney sat in a chair close to the door. She alway sat backwards in chairs.

"I wish I had another shot with her. I wish she liked me." Steve stood up. "But I have to move on."

Sydney felt bad. She couldn't help it. She was naturally sympathetic.

"Well my life sucks." Steve sat back down.

"You'll find someone. I promise you." He said hoping it would come true.

"You have us." Sydney sounded sad. She tried her best to sound enthusiastic

"Thanks guys." Steve lied down. "I like her though."

"There will come someone else." Sydney was about to cry for him.

"Exactly. You know what they say, there are more fish in the sea." He tried to sound smart, but he was usually not to good at advice.

"Your right." Steve stands up. "I can't pout. There's other people out there." Steve looked at Sydney.

"That's the spirit." Sydney looked at Steve with enthusiasm

"Yeah." Steve walked to his gun. "So you said you were planting this bomb. When will it go off?" Hears explosion. "Oh. Nevermind."

Matt stuck his thumbs up "Good."

"Yeah. It worked." Sydney was a little doubtful at first.

"Well are we going to be fighting anyone?" Steve was anxious to fight.

"Probably soon. All the commanders gather in Las Vegas around this time." Sydney remembered Las Vegas.

"Let's go then." Steve ziplined out and ran far ahead of everyone. He wanted to kill them all.

"Ooo I love vegas!" He thinks about that trip he took, looked at sydney, then he tried to forget it. Then he thinks to himself: Probably shouldn't say it..

"So it looks like we're going to Las Vegas." Sydney smled at the good memories.

Steve sees a lot of soldiers. "I must kill them all."

Sydney headed to her room and grabbed some clothes. "My car's down stairs."

"Can we gamble in vegas? And go to the clu- never mind." He wasn't about to get drunk, and probably screw up the whole plan.

"Yeah, I'll gamble." Sydney headed down stairs to car.

Matt followed her, but stopped her from getting in the wheel. "I can drive. Get some rest."

"Alright." Sydney got on the passanger side.

He entered the car. "Ahh, too bad this is automatic. I like shift better, but okay."

"I have a shift. You want to drive that?" She pointed to her Mustang. "It's in good condition."

Matt now had a big smile on his face. "OooOoOo Mustang!"

"Careful, it's a street-racing car." She always gave warnings with her cars.

Steve sees Sydney and Matt. He waves them over. He creeps closer to the soldiers.

"Haha, don't worry. Oh man! This is gonna be great!" He mumbles to himself for the next sentence. "Speeding in Vegas is gonna be SWEET!"

Waves over to them. Creeps closer to guards.

"Wait... aren't we going to vegas or what?!" He said waiting to go to vegas. He couldn't wait.

"There's Steve." Sydney pointed him out.

Uses mirror to flash sun in their eyes. It works. Waves them over.

Sydney goes over. "Thanks."

"I'm gonna take out those 6 guards." Steve runs at the guards.

Matt walks over to them. "C'mon. Lets kill them, then I wanna drive. K?"

"Fine." Sydney didn't care.

Steve only had a knife on him. He was surely gonna die. "I'm gonna do this alone." Steve runs closer to them.

"No!" He pulls out his desert eagle, and shoots 2 of the guards in the face.

Sydney stayed behind calculating every move. If worse came to worst, she had a pistol and some grenades.

"MATT!" Steve looked at him with anger. "I was doing this alone." Steve kills 3 guards.

"Wasn't gonna come out here and let you do all the work, and maybe die right? Sydney, you want the last one?"

"1 left." Sydney shot him and went to the car.

Last guard comes up from behind Steve. "All off you don't shoot or your Steve friend dies."

EDIT: Great...

Sydney had her pistol aimed. "You kill him I kill you."

"It will not matter. I can tell your friend means a lot to you."

(We still have the gaurd) Sydney kept it aimed.

"Sydney don't shoot. He'll kill me." Steve was terrified that she would.

"let him go." Sydney was told not to let anyone leave with anyone's life.

Matt shuddered at the last hostage situation.. The one with his parents. He shot, but his parents died. Matt cried at the thought.

"Just give me the money Sydney. And I'll let him go."

Sydney reached for the money. Then she moved slow to the guard.

"Don't give me any decoys or I'll kill your friend. Just give it to me."

Matt was really scared. "Please..."

"I'm giving it to you." Sydney handed over the money, "Now let Steve go."

"You think I would let him go. Ha! Good day." Guard walks off with gun pressed against Steve's head.

"You said if I shoot you, you will kill Steve right?" he had a clever plan.

"Alex you don't want him. You want me." Sydney set down her gun a nd walk to him.

"Yes I would shoot Steve here." Steve elbows the gun from his hand and stabs him in the neck. "Here's your money back Sydney."

"Alex, lets be reasonable." Sydney had no plan at all.

"Good job. Now, can we get going and drive to vegas?"

"Yes it's time to go to Vegas!" Steve gets in the car on the drivers side. "Can I drive?"

"Las Vegas!!" Sydney jumped in the passanger side.

"Okay so I guess I'm driving." Steve starts the car.

"We already spoke about this. Im driving."

Sydney got comfortable. "One of you drive."

"No I am Matt, I already have experience driving this car." Steve drives off.

"Blackjack." Memories raced through her head. She and Josh gambling.

"FINE!" He said angrily, because he has been wanting to drive all along... "Im going to take a nap. GOOD NIGHT!" Matt was really mad, but he figured he should get some rest.

"Gee calm down Matt." Enters Vegas. "Oh yeah!"

"We're here. That was fast." Sydney looked around the city as they drove in.

"Gotta love Vegas." Steve looked around. "So where to?"
