I can support this statement because the same thing happened on the east side of Michigan. Schools were closed on Monday due to the ice-snow mix and the next day was heavy rain. Two classrooms in my school actually had their ceilings collapse due to the rain, in fact.

Checked the high and low temps for today - 50 degrees Fahrenheit for the high and 20 degrees F for the low... now wait a second....

Weather has been whacky everywhere lately. Just last week we had a huge ice storm that covered everything in a layer of ice. Now we're getting early morning highs in the 70s.

Same Even though it was a bit cloudy today, it was around 60 degrees outside.

A lot of people are also getting sick in my school...including me. >_< I don't have the flu, but I have a pretty bad headcold. School was terrible today since I couldn't stop coughing and I had to make up 2 tests in a row afterschool since I stayed home on Monday and Tuesday. (Tomorrow shouldn't be easy either...)

Hooray for 60 degree weather~! I suppose that's a good thing, the weather was so nice I didn't even need my puffy coat. And I could almost taste a spring breeze~ Although that breeze soon turned into rough wind which is contributing to the thunderstorm going on now.

That sucks to hear of the consequences of your cold. Thankfully my sickness is going away slowly AND without any treatment. Being sick over Winter Break felt horrible, and I couldn't stand a repeat only 2 weeks after. I'd like to thank my AWESOME WILLPOWER for preventing it. (Or something)

Yeah it was the same because we both live in New York xD NY PRIDE<3 but last night... Geezus the winds were howling like a hurricane (like 50 mph or something) and I couldn't get any sleep.. And this morning a few minutes ago, I was waiting outside for my school bus. Clear enough day. Not even 5 minutes later wind picks up and a downpour happens -_____- just my luck

Stuck? Man, that's gotta suck. I should make a list of fun things to do with bricked technology. Because I have too many...

Soon I'm FINALLY gonna have a little spending money (But not for Wreck-It Ralph, of course. Someone else is being forced to get it for me. ) Just a couple days ago as I was lamenting over how poor I was, I suddenly remembered how I had this random horde of change in my drawer (I dislike change and don't consider it REAL money, don't judge me.) Someone agreed to give me bills for all of it as long as I could form a dollar. I wasn't counting when I grouped the silver, but I'm pretty sure it was from $15-20.

Really disappointed right now, I'm going to an anime convention tomorrow and at the last second one of the people I'm sharing a hotel room with bailed out; now me and the other person don't have enough money to stay at the hotel. So now I'm going to have to drive up there all three days; I live relatively far away. This also means that I'm going to have to pay an additional $60 for parking. I'm trying to find a free or cheap parking lot near the hotel (where the convention is being held) though. There's also a bunch of other stuff going on concerning this, such as the fact that my friend has my costume and I'm not sure how I'm going to get it; if you don't have a costume you have to pay an additional $5 on top of the ticket price to attend the convention.

RAGE! RAGE! RAGE!

Okay, I managed to work everything out. I will be driving my friend to the convention and she will give me gas money. We found a cheap parking lot across the street from the convention for $3 a day. It's about 45 minutes away from my house, which is a pain (driving there and back three days in a row). I'll manage though!

Having 10 days worth of unlimited Internet access on pre-paid is very nice, bundled with NT$550 worth of balance for everything else. All for NT$800, and Taiwanese dollars are... well, a bit tiny.

Looks like it's going to be uber nice to be on HSPA+ all day! And that'd mean that I'll be on VR every day!

(It's $28)

Over night, my town was invaded by a battalion of snow, completely burying the roads in around 7 inches of snow. As a result, schools were shut down.
I took advantage of this invasion to catch up on my sleep. Some interesting dreams I had last night. Can't even repeat them here without breaking the rules.

I'm sick of everyone saying how much snow they get and how cold it gets if it's any consolation.

And with weather talk, it reminds me of that really typical way to break the ice. You know... "How about that weather?"

This is incredible! How have I never gone to any of these things before? I effectively crossdressed at the convention as I was cosplaying as Chibitalia from Hetalia. I'm glad I did though, as I met a bunch of awesome people, most of whom were Hetalia fans. Also, please note that every single girl in the entire convention will walk up to you and give you a hug.

I got knocked out of the Super Smash Bros. tournament on the first round, but it was a touch match and I dragged it out to three rounds (it was best of three). Playing with 5 lives stock, I beat him the first round without losing a single life, I suppose I got cocky after that though, as he beat me (narrowly) the next two rounds.

The best event by far though was the Metal Gear Solid event, sadly there were no boxes, however. We had a war with dart guns with MGS music playing in the background, it doesn't sound like much but it was quite intense. I was the third to last person eliminated on my team and I received extra points for my "great dodging skills." It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, from running out in the middle of the battlefield and dodging every single bullet on a lone wolf ammo run, to kamikaze rushing enemies head on, it was great. The kamikaze rush is what got me killed, however, as the guy I was chasing had his teammate flank me and shoot me.

The third event I went to was a Black Butler event, which wasn't really my cup of tea. No pun intended, as it was effectively a tea party, but with hot chocolate. They auctioned off a pair of panties and human beings. Yes, they had a date auction for one of the people who set up the event. I wasn't really paying attention, but I believe someone payed at least over $40 just to go on a date with her.

I spent most of my time at the convention just hanging out with various people, be they the Hetalia group or a few other people. I also experienced my first kiss today, though I'm not sure it actually counts, as we were playing the pocky game and it only lasted for a second. Regardless, the convention is a blast so far, I'm about to pick up my friend and head up there for day 2! If you want, maybe I can share some pictures with you guys?

P.S.
Anyone here at the Kawa Kon convention in St. Louis, Missouri?

Ooh, it seems as if you're really enjoying your convention. Reminds me of myself when I went to Otakon, haha. The only difference was that I got overwhelmed by the sheer amount of EVERYTHING to do and only being one person, so I mostly took pictures of the coolest cosplays. THIS year it'll be HUGS of the coolest cosplays. There are actually quite a lot of conventions that are on my list to go to sometime in the future, but until Nintendo stops making new things for about a year or two (which will never happen) then I won't be able to get the money to go for quite a while...
Share more stuff! And pictures would be awesome~

We will never stop talking. We are a talking people. Us people talk. The only way us people will stop talking is if the human race ends or the internet ceases to exist. But even then, will we go outside after 50 years of computer addiction, and communicate with the outside world. (yeah idk what i'm talking about, but that's what happens when you just NEED to procrastinate on homework. HELP ME.)

That was so deep, man. Totally moving and spiritual. Snaps and claps, bro, snaps and claps.
If you want to stop procrastinating, I suggest LOGGING OUT and sitting somewhere without the distraction of the internet.

You see, what I meant by help was help with my homework. I love you guys WAY too much to log out Plus, on facebook, my status was a link to an ask.fm (kind of like a formspring sort of thing) telling people to help distract me. As you see, I'm an A-Class procrastinator.

What help do you require with your homework?

I am stuck on English homework on this book called Our Town, written by Thorton Wilder. The only thing is that I forgot the book in school and I haven't read a teeny bit of the book, and I need to include page numbers in my answers. So sparknotes is out of the equation. Also forgot my World History textbook in school so... Not doing that...

Ah English, I hate it, all that note taking is boring.
As for History, what are you currently learning about at the moment?

For me homework gets pushed back until the day before school. So I'm not even gonna think about the pile of Biotech and World History I got. For now it's just drawing and music... eh, I can kinda see why you're still procrastinating.

Well honestly, if I had the books to complete the assignment, I wouldn't be procrastinating. But I don't, so there's nothing I can really do besides copy off people lol

I never had an issue with homework really. Either my work was done during class or it wasn't an issue taking that long from my time. I feel like my school time was really relaxed compared to most of you.

In my case I should really keep up to date with it, cause most of it (unless it's like a major project or something) is done on the day it's due.

Well, I was busy all day. :< I woke up at 6 AM to go to an Ocean Bowl Tournament and I ended up staying there until 7 PM. Still, I guess the whole day wasn't a waste.

Looks like I'll be going to the senior prom this year; I got a prom date today. ^^ She actually wanted to go with me before I asked her, so that makes me feel nice. :3

Went to the junior prom alone. Did the same thing at senior prom, left a couple hours early to go home and get better at video games that I already beat.

Prom is overrated.

I'm sure going with a date would've been more enjoyable than going by yourself.

I think I have a potential prom date, but I'm not too sure about anything yet.

I had the most fun time at Bowie State University today. I got to play at 2 basketball games with the college Pep Band, even though it took 7 hours. Their sound is so BEAUTIFUL and their dances suit me well~ And they gave me free pizza~! I might put that place on my list...

At least you guys have potential Prom dates. I had nothing available.

Well proms up here aren't exactly appealing... Especially if they have to get the local police to be security to it....

At least you guys have prom. My school doesn't have any dance or prom. I heard it was because of some incident in the past, but I don't know what it was.

I never really cared about prom or dances in general, but I've heard that prom is different than what you see in movies, depending on your school.

Also, I got to work as an usher at the Linkin Park concert. I know at least two folks here are probably jealous.

I went to my prom and I have no regrets about going, I has told that even quite a few people actually voted for me for prom king because I had such an awesome suit.
Also it does not matter at all if don't have a date to come to the prom with you as long you actually have other people to hang out with.

I've never been a big fan of Linkin Park, but that IS awesome. Now if you said Paul McCartney I'd be dying.

Hmm... so, what makes prom so special? Isn't it just, like, a dance?

...Illegal how and why?

Today was amazing~ As I was checking out bass guitars in the music store I really did not want to go to I met a guy who showed me a lot of neato tricks for it. He even taught me how to play the entirety of Another One Bites The Dust. He even has his own band that he plays lead guitar for, and he agreed to help me practice when I get my own guitar. I MUST HAVE ONE NOW.

Bahamas isn't the place for me. I'll gladly stand on the top of a hill during a blizzard with my chest out and say "I don't get it - what's so bad about this weather?"

I'm strange as I totally agree with you, but I feel like I NEED cold places, too. The cold I can manage with easily. I got large coats (with a thousand pockets~), hot cocoa, and just bundling up layers. I still get cold way too easily, but I don't get hot that fast, so I can handle that. Plus the pretty flowers that grow~

Well! In these two day, so far it's been a blast! Dolphins might be my new favorite sea animal. I got to do the typical dolphin kiss, got to feed them, pet them and even got whacked I'm the stomach by its tail by accident! if they come out with a dolphin Pokemon in the 6th gen, I can understand if it learned Iron Tail.
