I really want to challenge the League ASAP, but I have yet to finish my team. Such a shame too. I just need one Pokémon from the DW and I can speed my way to finishing my training. Too bad that Pokémon I need needs 10K DW points just to be found, then I have to get the proper nature....

I was in a real good "tonight's the night right here right now I swear" mood for trading over my objects of affection (of which there are very few) from HeartGold to Platinum so that I may restart it. But then I saw the only thing that was stopping me, the only legendary that I had not caught; Rayquaza. Why? Because I STILL NEED IT TO BE BLACK. So now I have to wait until it is shiny so I CAN restart. But this time I am DETERMINED! I will NOT give up!

What is life without a little crazy? Thanksgiving is only in a couple of days, and I'm already preparing myself for the feast ahead. I'm starving myself on purpose, and I only ate about 3 or 4 food ITEMS today, compared to my usual~30. I had to sell the contents of my lunch so that I wouldn't be able to pig out like I usually do, and I made about 5 or 6 bucks, so score. All I know is that this reeeaaaally hurts my stomach, but I have to be able to eat EVERYTHING I grab at the table this year. And I always grab EVERYTHING on the table every year.

I'm going to attempt to apply, but everyone who is applying needs to remember something. The gym league is looking for someone who is rank 5 material. In other words, they will be looking for someone who is not too tough, but also not too weak because Gym #5 is stuck in the middle in terms of difficulty.
Oh, and I'm applying to be a Water type gym leader.

Actually, if I read Spirit's post correctly, the new gym leader will be ranked properly according to Spirit's and Aura's decisions, so the new leader could be any rank from 1 to 8 and the other leaders will be shifted accordingly.

A friend of mine who's in college right now said that's how it normally is. She said she doesn't talk to a majority of people she was friends with in high school anymore. She also said that you meet a lot of new people in college though, so it balances out.

Also, I've finally managed to get all the Shards I need for move tutors. In four hours, I managed to get these amounts of shards via dust clouds in Reversal Mountain:
Red - 47
Green - 39
Yellow - 38
Blue - 28

Can you take a guess as to what I needed the most?

Going to college is just like going to a new school. Lose touch with the people that you used to know, but you'll be meeting a bunch of new other folks as well. But hey, if you have some really good friends you should at least try to keep in touch with them somehow. The internet is magical.

Well, I only have six badges and I was getting quite a bit of shards, as you could see. I really needed to shards so I can teach 3 moves to a couple of my Gym Team Pokémon. I just had my fastest Pokémon out front to run away from the Excadrill that appeared from time to time. Just keep the Max Repels up - I bought 99 of them before I started my dust cloud spree, so I wouldn't run out.

I'm much the same way, minus the part about Facebook, since I don't have one. I never receive texts, only when I text someone else do I get replies - and I don't text hardly at all. I think the last time I sent a text message to someone was in the summer.

Actually, a study debunked that myth. In fact, if anything, you're more likely to get kidney cancer from carrying it in your pocket all day than brain cancer from talking on it.

I prefer talking with text in any way, shape, or form over any other methods of conversing. Next is talking to someone face to face, and that's when I just can't do it anymore. I'm prone to causing large periods of awkward silence when I'm not in a large group or with a good conversationalist.

I'm no longer afraid of the cancer threat in phones. I've been using them for years and it's not like I'm gonna stop anytime soon.

Cancer threat?

Deal with it. Not that it matters, what with radio waves being all over the world and nothing ever changes. It's just that life expectancy just got a whole lot longer than it was over a hundred years ago due to modern medicine and lifestyle... Which also means that a lot of "old-age" diseases get to surface.

Really, sometimes you get lucky, sometimes not.

Even if it did give you brain cancer, I only talk on my cellphone for extended periods of time (over 1 hour) when I'm at home. When I'm at home, I prefer to use my headset, so my phone isn't even near my ear. And that happens once a day, because while texting is fine and dandy, if I can talk on the phone with JJ, I'd choose that any day over texting.

All this talk of cancer reminds me that research has found out that there is a small amount of carcinogens in cans of soda pop. However, the amount is so small, that you'd have to drink over 1,000 cans a week just to even be at risk for cancer. You're more likely to contract and die of diabetes than contract and die of cancer by drinking that much pop.

I like unicycles so I do like those odds.

Now I just need to stand in the street then.

Okay, I may sound stupid, but I use metric system, so, do you mean 113 lbs or Kg? If the latter, then you are obese and you may need to go to a nutritionist. If in lbs, then what is your height?

I don't really care about my weight. I'm very weighty, but I know that there are worse.

The problem of overweight or obesity is not what people think or make fun of, but the health troubles that tag along. If someone needs to be concerned about his weight, then he/she better does that for the sake of his/her circulatory system and skeletal system.

Heh.

On the other hand, I've got something else to worry about myself right now.

I've always forgotten how tall I actually am.

Last time I measured it, I get 1.72 m, which should be around... 5' 7.7".

I really need to get my drivers license soon so I can get a chance to start going to the gym more often, I'm starting to loose my muscle mass.

Your BMI is 19.4, which is normal weight. Any less than that and it would become underweight. So, you better not think of losing any mass. It would be better for you to add some actually; you would look healthier.

I'd say 113 lbs is a fine weight. I wouldn't try to lose anymore than that, especially at 5' 4". I can't imagine why you'd want to lose anymore weight.

Last time I checked, 113 < 133. Trying to be less than 100 lbs before you wrestle?

I hope you know that at your current weight and height, you're rather underweight. The average at that height and age is between 130 and 155. Are you in a Featherweight division for wrestling or is your coach just insane?

Most wrestling coaches are insane...
One of my friends wrestles and he had to eat nothing but a small salad and a ton of water for about a week and a half to lose weight. There are two reasons why I will never wrestle:
1. I am on the heavy side >_<
2. I will go crazy if I ever get put on a diet like that.

Well yeah, im in one of the lighter weight classes. But this is actually normal, almost everyone in my height has around my weight unless they're short and fat or tall and anorexic lol

Something's not right there. Can't tell what it could be... maybe it's everyone around you being underweight. Maybe I'm just backwards.

Pfft, and I wanted to be on the wrestling team next year. I hope they don't get too crazy about my weight, because if they ask me to go on some sort of hippie diet I'm just going to immediately quit and never turn back. Eating salad is just... wrong to me.

Also, I recently got The Beatles Love Album. What I thought was originally another album spawned by a trip, it was actually released in 2006. Never knew that. I love everything about it, especially the bass groove that was brought out more in Hey Jude. The only thing about it that I hate is that I missed the Cirque du Soleil that I missed that the album was mixed for. Although it WAS in 2006, I wasn't into music as much as I am now.

I am with Quad in this; your coach is unreasonable. Any less than that and you won't be considered healthy, not to mention suitable for wrestling. And just because the ones around you are underweight, doesn't mean you have to be one...

Indeed. See if you can talk some sense to your coach - getting under that weight is probably something you will regret. Don't look around you - just look at yourself to get a context.

I was having an amazing day, people even respected me a lot more than usual and made me feel like I was wanted more, but it was all turned to sadness when I finished my book just a second ago. Now I'm a tear-covered mess because of the ending. I'm so emotionally attached.

Those books are the only books I will ever read on my own time<3 I love those and I really want to buy the next one, the one you just listed. However, I can't with all the stuff going on in my life.

Oh yay, my most favorite anime~ (As obvious from the avatar.) And since I'm the ultimate fan of it, I know exactly what you're talking about AND I have quotes. I actually made up a challenge for myself. Watch all episodes of Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood English subbed and dubbed back to back nonstop. I calculated how much time it would take, and it would just be one simple weekend. The hard part would be getting all those episodes together and finding a perfect time to do this.
(If you haven't guessed by now, mentioning FMA around me is dangerous. Fanboy.)

Hah, I see that now, Turtwig. Mustang's quote gets me every time.

Ah, I remember...
Mustang: It's a terrible day for rain.
Hawkeye: What do you mean? It's not raining.
Mustang: Yes...it is.

It's also a great metaphor for how Mustang was feeling.

Too many feelings were poured into that episode. Just... just how dare they. Well, more like how dare she. But I guess considering how well it tied in with the plot, it was really necessary for the death... but that doesn't change the fact that it was one of the most emotional episodes of the anime. I even remember little Elicia's quote that broke my heart. Still, the lasting effect on Mustang is definitely seen much later on in the series. Oh my, I'm just bouncing all up and down the timeline relating past to future.

Mhm.
Think about it.
Mustang is useless in the rain.
And at the funeral, that's how he felt.

Ah yes, a wise observation. And that one event made something click inside Mustang's head, setting forth a long chain of events that lead all the way up to the last couple of episodes. His entire character can be interpreted as a metaphor if you analyze him the correct way. The way he combats this uselessness from the rain and turns it around causing the death of the undying... whoo, that's just one of the few reasons why COLONEL ROY MUSTANG is my 2nd favorite character. Of course, nothing and no one could ever beat Alphonse.
