The same goes to me. Heck, once I was injured exactly in the eye by a baseball, right after the last day of school ended (before the mid-term break). I had to literally lie in bed for 4 days, stop all video games, and never open the computer. When all my cousins would come over, I would just sleep in my bed, as I couldn't even open both of my eyes. They were burning and paining me like crazy, especially the injured one.
I think those were the toughest days of my life.

Today, I was really annoyed: we have the Science Fair coming up on the 29th of April, and we're expected to come up with a project that's interesting and, well, based upon a scientific principle. After searching the internet for hours, I found a very cool idea, and decided to submit it today. The shocking news were that another person of grade 9 aleady submitted the exact same idea, so now we can't use it

I'd appreciate any ideas that you guys can give me. I want them to be not-so-complicated, interesting as well as scientifically-based.

One i've used...like twice before(that or I used it once and my sister did it the year after) use different liquids to wash rust off of pennies to make them cleaner. Like, take rust remover, soda, water, or anything else and keep a penny in that liquid for a little bit, then measure which is cleaner afterwards and such.(just be sure to use pennies that look similar in dirtiness)

A really cool one what you could use is get a car or boat battery. I remember if you were to oxidize the chemicals inside, hydrogen becomes a side-effect in gas form. You can then make it explode. Not sure, google it though.

Oh, I forgot to say: Explosion/high electric currents/anything dangerous is strictly not allowed :/

(But hey, that would make a perfect idea for destroying my school )

That does sound cool, but not only is it expensive, it doesn't have anything a science project would need in it...(as long as Shadow's system is the same as my school system's)

I'd appreciate any ideas that you guys can give me. I want them to be not-so-complicated, interesting as well as scientifically-based.
Make a volcano with baking soda and vinegar.

EDIT: Woo hoo! I just made it past the first round in my school's debate-a-bowl! It's tourney style, so one person from each debate moves forward to fight another winner on a different topic. Now... to defend Twilight... :/

Ya that'll win.

Today I decided to take a career test, and I got some stupid thing I can't remember but I do remember that one of the careers listed as an aswer was a mime, because everyone wants to be one of those right!?

I did that except I made the pennies green instead.

Then lose for the sake of your sanity.

Alchemy is basically chemistry. Much of the stuff alchemists did were real, they just didn't understand it.

Chemistry is a real science; alchemy is a pseudoscience. It would be science if they documented their results in a meaningful way.

I'm really mad right now because I've discovered my priciple is making us have uniforms and it really sucks, and ironicly the last school our principle was at they actually got rid of the uniforms because the current doesn't like them.

Oh, yes. There seemed to be a required paper on uniforms vs. no uniforms in every single year of middle school. I would sometimes argue in favor of them just to be different and for the challenge of doing so. Coming up with a coherent argument supporting them is actually pretty easy if you assume the kids are all ignorant and socially blind.

I think supporting uniforms would be easier than opposing them. Actually, either side is really easy since every middle school assigns it every day.

All I did was think about everything I hated about them, and made it positive.

I would be all for uniforms. I wear my street clothes under formal wear most the time.

As long as the uniforms don't cost hundreds of dollars...

Maybe if the uniform were Limited. My school kinda has one. It's pretty much a lanyard we have to wear the whole time we're at school. I guess it's like work though so I don't find it annoying like everyone else at my school.
