In time. I'll have 10 trophies again once I feel like spending a few hours on the buggy games in the arcade.

So I'm planning to buy this watch once it's back in stock, and I'm really excited because style-wise, it's fairly unique in how the dials turn, not the hand(s).
In other news, my best friend and her family are going away for 3 days, so they gave me a key and their alarm codes so I can come take care of their cat for them, as well as fees the fish. And being that she's my best friend, I'm also cleaning up their house a little to help. Oh, and it happens to be her birthday on August 1st, so I've devised an elaborate riddle-based scavenger hunt where I'll hide her gifts through her house.

Can you be my best friend? I love those kinds of things, my mum used to do that with Easter eggs every Easter, and my brother and I always found them so much fun!

Also that was looks cool. It can have my seal of approval, which pretty much means nothing, but it's a nice thing to have.

I just felt some unusual feeling. I think one could describe it as a feeling of "how sweet" or "that's fun." Makes me realize how little my friends decide to do something special for me. /acting like he has no emotions

Well I just got back from a one night fishing trip... Needless to say I'm tired.
First we went fishing, which kinda caved in since we caught nothing, but not at a complete loss. Next we went hiking on something called "The Nordic Trail." A 20Km trek through the side of a 'canyon' with a beautiful river in the canyon. It took us to the end where a place called the Ink pots lie. The trek killed my legs just from all the steep up hills on our way to the end of the path, not to mention I was put on pack mule duty carrying all the stuff, at least the downhill wasn't bad... Then rain!
Next we tried to have a small camp fire to make some hot dogs.... It didn't end well. The rain kept mocking us and coming down randomly. So we decided after the trek, and failed making of hot dogs, to try out the Banff Hot springs, cause why not, we we're in town. Wet, tired, hungry, we needed something to calm ourselves. My goodness, it was so relaxing. I nearly fell asleep in the spring just because it felt good on my hurt shoulders and feet.

I have never been in a springs myself actually... Must try that sometime.

I've been getting my speed cards time (memorising the order of a pack of cards) down to 4 minutes now. The world memory championships are this December and I really need to get back into shape. I'm probably worst at my speed cards in all fairness though

My friend and I decided at 6 am today to go to Walmart and buy some pancakes.....
Man we're lazy if we're not making them ourselves.

On a related topic, I think Dark Illusionist is a good theme, but it's getting a bit old. I've always wondered why the default forum theme seems to be essentially untouched for, like, over a year.

This is beginning to sound confusing, Quad.

I was referring to how the default theme, aside from special occasions and the tagline, seems to be essentially unchanged.

I usually use Dark Illusionist because that's the default and I don't really change much after that.
But when I do change, it's always to Quilava's Inferno. Whe I'm in a different mood, it's to one of he Winter themes. And when I'm just feeling weird, MLP theme for the lulz.

I almost never have school on my birthday, which kinda sucks for me because I like seeing my friends on my birthday. Lucky me my birthday is on a Tuesday this year, and it's coming up quite soon, actually. Huh. I have this lingering feeling that my eccentric lockermate will have a small surprise for me. Perhaps a cupcake. Oh well, we'll see. As long as people don't sing to me in class (or worse, make me stand on a chair as they sing to me) then it'll be considered a good day. Even if I have a whole bunch of tests.

As much as I'd love to stay in school ad celebrate with the people who never know it's my birthday and never celebrate or anything, I think I'd painfully have to choose the beach.
And I never skip on my birthday. I try to never skip at all. I used to think it was wrong until the end of 10th grade year when I lost all respect for my school.

Okay, well I wouldn't choose the beach over anything, because I hate the beach, but maybe, like going out hiking for the day or even just going on running paths. But not the beach, because I can't stand the sun, the heat, or the water, so the beach is my ultimate weakness. But I did go to the beach in Florida and that was nice, because it was a cooler and cloudy. Perfect! I don't even like swimming... But once I get in the water, I don't want to come out, because yeah. I is no comfortable with wearing bikinis. I feel too naked. I don't even wear low-cut shirts or shorts often. Which is why I'm so pale. Anyways, back to my ranting about the beach... My best friend's dad pushed me off the dock and into the water when we were visiting her grandparents. Came out dripping wet (mind you, it wasn't a good idea to wear a dark bra under a yellow shirt) and tried to bring him back in with me, but instead just gave him a wet hug, so whatever. I have plenty of time to get him back.

I prefer forested mountains over beaches. I just like the enclosed shade, the scent from the trees, all the greenery, and the mountainous view over the sandy beaches. I guess it's because I live at a spot where to get to a beach, I'd have to spend 1-2 days in a car and drive across a province where as the mountains are literally an hour away.

My aunt and brother have been arguing over him playing football for about a month now, and the most recent one involved me in it.

Arguement
Brother: Why can't I try out for football?
Aunt: You'll get hurt.
Brother: So will Alex, and she used to play football.
Aunt: Well, Alex is different. She can't break bones in color guard. Wait...she played football?
Brother: Her 8th grade year.
Aunt: I thought she did marching band.
Brother: She did both.
Aunt: I didn't know that. You're not doing football.
Brother: And Alex broke four bones during winter guard one year.
Aunt: Alex, can you come here?
Me: What?
Aunt: What's more dangerous: football or color guard?
Me: Well I've sustained more and worse injuries in color guard than football.
Aunt: Zach, you're not doing football or color guard.

My aunt's logic confuses me. The accident-prone can do something dangerous , but the one who's never been hurt can't.

The only major injuries I've had was one time when I was 5, I ran head first into a corner post and split part of the upper part of my head open and had to get stitches.(It's right under where my forehead and my hairline meets.) The other one was when I was 8 or so, merely me getting my left hand caught in a door and it crushing my middle finger a bit. It actually turned me right handed after that incident since I used to do things left handed...
(I was one special kid now that I think about it...)

I had a bad case of a bleeding finger from managing to cut my finger with the edge of a window back when I was 10.

When you guys talked about football and its injuries, I thought about what you call soccer, since that game isn't that brutal.

In my case, my bones are very sturdy that my left hand bone endured 3 serious accidents before getting broken. The first one was when I was driving. I crashed into a pillar. My hand got stuck within the hand wheel, and due to the impact, it twisted, but didn't break. On the same day, I was riding a bicycle, and for some reason, I slipped and fell down, and the bicycle fell on my left hand. The very next day, I was playing soccer and some genius spilled a lot of water on the ground. When I slipped, I involuntarily used my left hand to stop myself from crashing to the ground, but the position of my hand was abnormal and the weight was too heavy for it. It broke.

I once jammed my finger so bad while playing basketball, my parents thought my middle finger was broken. It was just bruised a little more severe than other times. I do believe basketball is the cause of the permanent deformity of my right ring finger.

My right middle finger is jammed. The bone itself got deformed for an unknown reason. It doesn't hurt, but it becomes really visible when I write.

Pfffffft. That's nothing. My brother was chasing me one time and I tried to shut the door on him, but when I did, I heard him scream. I looked at the door and saw his finger sticking out between the cracks in the door. Remember, the door was COMPLETELY closed. How his finger was still attached was beyond me. It was a rather vibrant shade of purple for a week or two and while it was healing, the fingernail fell out. It was cool, in a morbid sort of way. He's all better now, though. Like it never even happened.

Ouch. x_x That's similiar to what happened to me, but when my finger got smashed in a door, the fingernail was almost completely detached and was lifted up. It was easily the worst pain I ever felt in my life.

That reminds me of the time I was getting something from the fridge and the door shut On my fingers unexpectedly. It didn't close all the way because that's insane, but it was bleeding for more than 20-30 minutes (Years ago, can't remember. But it was a while)
I would discuss more of my injuries, but I'm getting sick again just thinking about it.

It started because of bones, Then spiralled.

Had a pretty long day walking in town to go to my dental appointment, did a lot of walking so I feel accomplished.

Ouch, that sounds like it hurt. I've had my fingers shut in a door on other occasions, like when I was little and my sister closed the door on my fingers after stealing my pajamas for no apparent reason...or so I think it went. It nearly closed all the way, but my fingers were lodged in a way that they wouldn't close. My sister also got her arm stuck in the doors of an elevator and firemen had to be called to lodge her out of there.

Probably the worst pain I felt was at Disneyland. My family and I were riding some sort of ride (I can't remember which one, though...), and after we went down the biggest drop of the ride (where the speed was still incredibly high), the ride suddenly stopped. Me being on the first row of passengers, I jerked forward, and, being short, slammed my nose into the front of the car. I remember my hands and the floor being covered in blood streaming from my nose, and as badly as it hurt, I tried not to cry. The ride eventually made its course around, and, as a commendation of my willingness not to cry, I received a free plush toy. So I guess you could say it had a happy ending.

I've been kind of the opposite. I've been getting too used to staying up late. I guess I'd better get back to my regular sleeping schedule before school starts up again.

If you still have two weeks, you have plenty of time to fix your sleep schedule. It may take some getting used to, but you should slowly go to bed each night at an earlier time. For a few days, make it 1:30am. For a few days after, make it 1:00am, etc. I know it is easier said then done, especially for those like me who are insomniacs, but there's no harm in trying. It's much better than getting 3 hours of sleep the night before a school day, trust me.

Messed up schedules... they are an annual pain. My school starts in 09/09, so I have plenty of time; it doesn't worry me. What is worrying me right now is that my IGCSE results will be published on Monday on Cambridge's website. I'm too nervous.

School starts the day after Labor Day for me. My school decided to change the way the daily schedule works by having 7 classes a day (instead of last year's schedule which was 4 classes a day), adding an extra 20 minutes onto each day (so the days end at 2:30 everyday), and making every Tuesday end at 1:32. This year might get a bit hectic because it's my senior year and I decided to take 2 AP classes along with a couple programming classes.

School starts in 4 days for me...school went from 48 minutes per class to 50 minutes...14 more pure minutes of torture. But I think I will live. My locker combination is the easiest in the world...39-49-59. No joke at all. I love it a lot. And my Lcker is in a quiet zone so no "bleeps" everywhere. Also since I have no apple products at all, for Algebra 1 students (highest Math class for 8th grade) get to use iPad all year long. So I guess I can feel more 'powerful. In 7th grade I was in Pre-Algebra...for some reason I just skipped regular Algebra. *shrugs* All I can say is is that school is going to be better than my last year.

School starts for me on the 22nd of August. And I still don't have my summer assignments done! GREAT! (Procrastination techniques are win)

Anyways, we have registration next week, and I can almost guarantee that, somehow, the school is going to mess up the schedule. Every year, it seems like my band class somehow is wrong. In my freshman year they put me in the advanced class instead of the intermediate (but they let me stay anyways) and in sophomore year they didn't have me in marching band for some odd reason. So this year, it's NOT marching band but just regular ol' band, but they'll probably screw it up by putting me in marching band or (hopefully) not accidentally get put in the honors class with the strictest conductor of all time.

I start college on either the 4th or 5th of September. The 22nd of August is a little bit too early where I'm from.

Classes start at 8:30 A.M. at the earliest at the college I go to, and end at 4:30 P.M. Individual classes last either one or two hours, and I have up to 7 hours of classes a day. That's depending on how much work I'll be putting into it.

The thing about that is, the courses I'll be taking are an introduction to Graphic Design, Sound Design, and Photography. Animation is part of the course, but I'm no good at that and will probably drop it as soon as I begin the program.

You could always try what I do to fix my sleep cycle Reun. You could always try to pull off an all nighter, and stay up until you think it's a good time for you to fall asleep. Then again you'll be up for more than a day, and that really makes you exhausted by the end... It's just a suggestion.

... Also I feel like I want to go swimming lately... Maybe it's because I haven't been for a long time.

Today was slightly productive for me. In a burst of excitement I completed the sheet music for Indigo Plateau and Vs. Johto Champion Lance. Next are Olivine Lighthouse and SS Aqua. I got a list of all the games I have to beat. Only about 6, and I'm near the end on each. I'm trying to make my last week of summer great, productive, and insane as ever.
