I'm not one to let something bug me, but what happened earlier Tuesday REALLY bugged me.
So on my way downtown, my friend and I took subway transit there. We looked for available seating and saw one and took it, unknown to either of us, it was reserved for disabled and elderly. A couple of stops later an elderly woman gets on and starts telling us that we are in a designated area for disabled and elder. Naturally we apologized and moved out of the seat, she didn't sit down but said this, word by word "Your mother's sure raised you two well, taking elderly seating so we can't sit. They should be ashamed..."
Now this offended me greatly. I love my dear mother, and by Arceus, she raised me well, same as my friend. We apologized, got up out of he seat and still, my mom is apparently a terrible mother because I missed a sign. My friend did ask why his mother was just offended but the woman refused to talk to us the rest of the ride. On our stop when both my friend and I got off, I heard over my ear, "Ungrateful Youth."
I just don't understand why my simple mistake was blamed on my mother, who had nothing to do with my mistake today. Sometimes I really hate some people.... and that's rare for me.....

Old people have a weird way of thinking. That's what I convince myself with. I don't get along with elderly people, so I always ignore their criticisms, no matter how offensive, and give them a cold shoulder. They don't like my attitude, but I simply don't care. You should be like that and relax, since there is no true reason to be mad at someone whose way of thinking is too narrow.

2 – TurtwigX, Blood SwampertGuys, this is not a chat board, so please be more formal and stop with this internet slang.

oh. sorry Spirit. Well, I am starting a new conversation then! I am too lazy to get up and turn on the fan in my room. However, I am dripping sweat and really want the fan to turn on. Oh, what ever shall I do?!
|
1 – Blood SwampertStop being lazy or melt. It's really all your choice. I prefer to get up for a few seconds rather than being a living melted Popsicle.

Worrying about heat now, aren't you? Let us compare your situation with mine. I live in a country which has its climate a desert. The temperature here is 45-50 C. The air conditioner of my room has been broken for 2 days now. Simply put, I am melting day and night and I can't even sleep!
So, don't you think you are a bit cold now? |

1 – TwiggySo there's this spider in the corner of my bathroom for a few weeks now and it's getting really big now. It's even killed a few spiders its own size. I've named it Arakune.
Just sharing for you arachnaphobes.
1 – The Spirit of TimeThe bugs I hate are the ones like flies and mosquitoes, or anything that sticks to you or start buzzing in your ear. Otherwise, I don't care.
1 – Blood SwampertI'm not much of a bug fan...mostly mosquitoes, flies, bees, and spiders. The former two annoy the heck out of me, and the latter two I find creepy. Also, I wouldn't hesitate to dispose the former two, but the latter two, though I know I really want to get rid of them, I can't bring myself to go anywhere near them.
You guys hate fruit flies, right?
Take like a shot glass and fill it almost to the top with sweet vinegar. Put a couple drops of liquid dish soap on it to break the surface tension. Best trap ever.

Do you guys want to know a super weird way to stop mosquitos from biting you? It's works for me on the mosquitos here in central Canada, and it's worth a try with you guys... Do you know those static-free sheets that you're supposed to throw in with your laundry that has sorta a perfume-ish smell and a waxy feel? Rub those on your skin and clothes (where they bite through). Hopefully it works, then you don't need to use that toxic bug spray! Oh, and while we're talking about annoying bugs, I hate horseflies so much.
On another note, it's worth mentioning that I got Pokémon Conquest 2 weeks ago and beat the main story on the first day. But they have SO many other stories to play after of the other warlords! The gameplay is extensive!

How about this?
@Lux, I wouldn't need to concern myself with that. Mosquitoes often avoid me for some reason. I guess it's a good thing since I'm not bugged that often.
Much like the rest of society. ;n;
Also I bought one of those Flying Inflatable Swimming Sharks. It was funny scaring my mother with it when I brought it upstairs. On the downside, I now have half a tank of helium left.... Not sure what to do with the last of it. I had enough fun messing with my voice, but after a while you start to get light headed so I stopped.
Well back to requests~

404'ing image.
Helium tanks for voice? Warning: If you feel strange using these helium tanks, it's probably a good idea to stop. |

|
Either way, it's a tiny spider playing a drum
Yes, I did stop when I started to get light headed, since then I have't done it. Mainly out of sure laziness cause I shoved it in the back. I also have a couple of plushes won two, three days ago. All three Unova Starters, a Small Turtwig and Snivy plush, and a Zoroua Plush. Got a good haul I think. ![]() |

1 – 7dewott8I forgot in my math binder my boyfriend graffiti-ed **** on the front pocket during Latin class so when I found it, the little boy I was babysitting asked what **** meant. Not 10 minutes after he got picked up, his mom called and told me her son was saying **** after everything he said. I hate the phrase **** now.

"Went swimming this morning. ****!"
I swear, every time I hear/see someone say "****" I want to press a button that strikes the person with a bolt of lightning.
3 – TurtwigX, Cat333Pokémon, Squirtle102There's this one girl at school that said it all the time in the most obnoxious manner ever. My solution? I think I'm getting one of these.
2 – MaRcHiNg12step, TurtwigXGood thing I barely see people screaming ****. Then again I might just take a nerd approach and always carry a red and blue shirt, and when someone says that, I put on the other colour. Shut up I know it's wololo, either way they sound like idiots.
Also for some reason I'm just incredibly tired, and losing my appetite once again. I seriously wonder what is up with my mind....

It's an annoying acronym that stands for "You Obviously Like Owls".

Ughh i hate the heat, but spirit still has it worst! Anywho, Like my new avii?
A lot of you people need more sleep ![]() |
It's those phrases that I hate instantly...I wished I lived in a place where **** and all that other stupid stuff didn't exist...
I somehow played every single Pokémon game for DS that I own. Diamond, Platinum, Heart Gold, Black, White, and Black 2. All for 1 team. That I haven't got all the members for. This is so troublesome...
The stupid thing about **** is that it brings up nothing new. If I remember correctly, we were told when we were so young that we only live once, so nothing has changed. It is not like we used to live twice or something...

4 – Cyrus, MaRcHiNg12step, Luxray13579, The Spirit of TimeOne set of grandparent are 82 years old, my dad's parents are 68 and 71, so muc younger than my mom's parents. And what's really weird, is that my great grandma on my dad's side is only 4 years older than my grandma on my mom's side. So they're old. And then there's my best friend whose grandparents are in their 50s, and has a great aunt in her 40s...
Well, I've still got my grandmother from my dad's side, and both grandparents from my mom's side, and they're all in their low 80s. My grandmother from my dad's side and my grandfather from my mom's side are both doing really well (especially my grandfather, but the life expectancy in Japan is generally higher anyways), but my grandmother from my mom's side has been pretty ill these last few months.
As far as great-grandparents, they've all passed on. The last one died when I was 3.
I never knew my grandparents from my mom's side of the family or my grandfather from my dad's side. They all died before I was born. The only grandparent I've ever known is my grandma on my dad's side, and she is still alive. For a woman who has experienced the tragic death of two separate husbands, she's a strong lady. (she re-married after her first husband died, and the second one died a few years ago)
I remembering one of my great grandparents. She was my great grandmother from my father's side. I was five when she died and she was above 100. I can't remember her much though.
My grandfather from my dad's side died before I was born. Actually, he died before my father met my mom.

Yeah, Alzheimer's is a terrible disease. My step-dad's mom was in the late stages of Alzheimer's when him and my mom first began dating, but we didn't even know that until she passed away and we went to her funeral. Apparently she just laid in bed all day, but finally one morning my step-dad got a call from his sister saying that she had just stopped breathing. It is a terrible disease indeed, but they're so close to developing a cure, did you know?
My grandparents on my mom's side range from 80-90 or so. And they're still kicking. They actually survived a lethal car crash and getting run over by an ATV. On my dad's side they're probably dead, but I don't care. It might seem insensitive, but I dislike everyone on my dad's side.
I found out that my job might make me wake up earlier than I do already. Before I had to wake before 5 since it takes me an hour to get from my home to my work. I worked an early 6 am, but went home at 10 am. I didn't mind, I liked seeing the sun coming up. Now I have to wake up at 4 am to get there at 5 am, to go home at 9 am... I feel as though I can now sleep after work and wake up at like noon as if I was just sleeping all morning... I'm sure gonna miss that sun rise though. But dang, I'm not sure why I need to get to work THAT early... O_O

Sometime after I get my copy of White 2 in the mail, I think I might try out the new league, once I got a team going in there. Not exactly a fan of anything competitive, though, so I think I'm going to be just a light player. I guess I don't share as much excitement as some of you, no?
Today I went to one of the most interesting parties ever. Due to the fact my next door neighbors haven't fully moved in yet, their son, a smart and wild kid around my age, decided to throw a party in their under-furbished home. Being brand-new to the country, I got to invite my friends and organize it (of course I incorporated Italian music for him). The boy learned quickly how crazy my friends and I can be.

I can't wait for it to come out in English. Yes, I'm waiting this time because the import price is outrageous. Stupid economy.
|
You get paid well though, don't you? I heard it's like $15 an hour over where I am. I'm gonna be a summer camp counselor once I'm legally old enough to be one...
So not this year, but next year! On another note, I'm sad the VRIM is being phased out, but I do totally understand Cat's reasoning for doing so.
2 – AuraKshatriya, TurtwigX
1 – TurtwigXWell actually the bridge is called the Charizard Bridge because of it's great beauty and elegance. I can't explain the noise though...
Also, I can't sleep. There's a mouse (more maybe even mice) in the veiling and they're running around. The noise they make when they run bothers the crap outta me.
She's right. The bridge was named after Charizard and the noise is just a little Easter Egg thing. Because clearly Charizard does not exist in Unova.
If we had mice, I'd be terrified out of my mind. I think we even had a dead one in the recycling bin. My mom put it in the backyard so it would decompose. And the basement... no one knows what lives down there...
