I'm not one to let something bug me, but what happened earlier Tuesday REALLY bugged me.

So on my way downtown, my friend and I took subway transit there. We looked for available seating and saw one and took it, unknown to either of us, it was reserved for disabled and elderly. A couple of stops later an elderly woman gets on and starts telling us that we are in a designated area for disabled and elder. Naturally we apologized and moved out of the seat, she didn't sit down but said this, word by word "Your mother's sure raised you two well, taking elderly seating so we can't sit. They should be ashamed..."

Now this offended me greatly. I love my dear mother, and by Arceus, she raised me well, same as my friend. We apologized, got up out of he seat and still, my mom is apparently a terrible mother because I missed a sign. My friend did ask why his mother was just offended but the woman refused to talk to us the rest of the ride. On our stop when both my friend and I got off, I heard over my ear, "Ungrateful Youth."

I just don't understand why my simple mistake was blamed on my mother, who had nothing to do with my mistake today. Sometimes I really hate some people.... and that's rare for me.....

It's time for the "Why Turty hates people!" hour!
So clearly you and your friend are right for apologizing. What are you again...human, right? Last time I checked, they have the capacity for a little error and mistakes here and there. But her? OOOOH HER. She does NOT need to have an attitude like that over a little slip up. "Oh, I'm so old, just look at my gray hairs. You should treat me like a god because I am more special than you." Just no. Sure, I know that the elderly do have special needs so that they can keep on living, but I go on a respectful basis. If she said it in a nicer tone, maybe even asked about it, I'd move without hesitation, maybe even apologize profusely like I always do. The things you said she said, oh no. It wouldn't go down like that with me. Them's fightin words. Not fistfighting, but verbal fighting. No one is allowed to insult my mother outside of joking. I wouldn't let a person like that get away with it. And she calls you "Ungrateful Youth" under her breath, even? Now that's just cowardice. Clearly she's too afraid to insult you directly. She claims that you're ungrateful youth, but clearly she's just "Ignorant Elderly" for not recognizing a human mistake and leaving it at that.
This rant is over. I hate people.

Old people have a weird way of thinking. That's what I convince myself with. I don't get along with elderly people, so I always ignore their criticisms, no matter how offensive, and give them a cold shoulder. They don't like my attitude, but I simply don't care. You should be like that and relax, since there is no true reason to be mad at someone whose way of thinking is too narrow.

Well, just imagine living in a world where nothing is the same as it once was and everything is completely different. I can't imagine it'd be too fun.

Which is why I ignore them. I still respect them, but I prefer no to debate with them in whatever they talk about. It is less stressful.

I guess I understand what you're saying. What I hate is when they have a really thick southern accent mixed with their old person inability to take and it just comes out as garbled gibberish. To avoid saying "WHAT?" constantly I just smile and nod.

Despite what I said, I'm pretty shy and afraid of talking to strangers, so something that would fit MY personality more would just be shooting a few evil looks. But I still hate people, especially people like that.

Worrying about heat now, aren't you? Let us compare your situation with mine. I live in a country which has its climate a desert. The temperature here is 45-50 C. The air conditioner of my room has been broken for 2 days now. Simply put, I am melting day and night and I can't even sleep!

So, don't you think you are a bit cold now?

Build a Rube Goldberg machine so every time you press "-" on your numpad it toggles the fan on/off.

A fan is useless in this country, my friend. The only thing a fan can do is to blow hot air at our faces.

I'm not much of a bug fan...mostly mosquitoes, flies, bees, and spiders. The former two annoy the heck out of me, and the latter two I find creepy. Also, I wouldn't hesitate to dispose the former two, but the latter two, though I know I really want to get rid of them, I can't bring myself to go anywhere near them.

Take like a shot glass and fill it almost to the top with sweet vinegar. Put a couple drops of liquid dish soap on it to break the surface tension. Best trap ever.

You are such a crafty devil that I wish I had fruit flies to test this out with.
But the things that plague me most are mosquitoes and spiders. The mosquitoes piss me off to no end, but the spiders are so small and harmless that I've rented out my bathroom to them.

Do you guys want to know a super weird way to stop mosquitos from biting you? It's works for me on the mosquitos here in central Canada, and it's worth a try with you guys... Do you know those static-free sheets that you're supposed to throw in with your laundry that has sorta a perfume-ish smell and a waxy feel? Rub those on your skin and clothes (where they bite through). Hopefully it works, then you don't need to use that toxic bug spray! Oh, and while we're talking about annoying bugs, I hate horseflies so much.
On another note, it's worth mentioning that I got Pokémon Conquest 2 weeks ago and beat the main story on the first day. But they have SO many other stories to play after of the other warlords! The gameplay is extensive!

How about this?

@Lux, I wouldn't need to concern myself with that. Mosquitoes often avoid me for some reason. I guess it's a good thing since I'm not bugged that often.
Much like the rest of society. ;n;

Also I bought one of those Flying Inflatable Swimming Sharks. It was funny scaring my mother with it when I brought it upstairs. On the downside, I now have half a tank of helium left.... Not sure what to do with the last of it. I had enough fun messing with my voice, but after a while you start to get light headed so I stopped.
Well back to requests~

Yes, I did stop when I started to get light headed, since then I have't done it. Mainly out of sure laziness cause I shoved it in the back. I also have a couple of plushes won two, three days ago. Fix'd.

Here comes the real small talk that I'm generally curious about! Has the weather for you guys been unusually hot/cold lately. It's been like +30*C (86*F) here in central Canada. It hasn't been this warm during the summer here for like4-5 years.

I hate that phrase because everyone in my school uses it. I hate just about everyone in my school. My solution? Mock it in every way possible until it loses all meaning. Like yelling "****!" and doing nothing but suicides in a Brawl match (Like Ganondorf's Side+B off the edge)

I get just enough sleep, thank you very much, jerk. But I AM going to bed early, I gotta wake up early for Six Flags.

I don't know why people say **** for absolutely no reason. I don't even like that phrase. Sure, you do only live once, but that doesn't mean throw your life away doing stupid stuff. And the way others use it is just nonsensical, like that example you gave.

Because their lives are just so uninteresting that they need to try and make it seem interesting by stating the ever-so obvious fact that you live once.

The stupid thing about **** is that it brings up nothing new. If I remember correctly, we were told when we were so young that we only live once, so nothing has changed. It is not like we used to live twice or something...

I can't imagine any of my grandparents that old. Other than my grandfather who died 20 years ago, the three remaining are still in their 70s and I consider them too old.

One set of grandparent are 82 years old, my dad's parents are 68 and 71, so muc younger than my mom's parents. And what's really weird, is that my great grandma on my dad's side is only 4 years older than my grandma on my mom's side. So they're old. And then there's my best friend whose grandparents are in their 50s, and has a great aunt in her 40s...

Well, I've still got my grandmother from my dad's side, and both grandparents from my mom's side, and they're all in their low 80s. My grandmother from my dad's side and my grandfather from my mom's side are both doing really well (especially my grandfather, but the life expectancy in Japan is generally higher anyways), but my grandmother from my mom's side has been pretty ill these last few months.

As far as great-grandparents, they've all passed on. The last one died when I was 3.

I never knew my grandparents from my mom's side of the family or my grandfather from my dad's side. They all died before I was born. The only grandparent I've ever known is my grandma on my dad's side, and she is still alive. For a woman who has experienced the tragic death of two separate husbands, she's a strong lady. (she re-married after her first husband died, and the second one died a few years ago)

Yeah, Alzheimer's is a terrible disease. My step-dad's mom was in the late stages of Alzheimer's when him and my mom first began dating, but we didn't even know that until she passed away and we went to her funeral. Apparently she just laid in bed all day, but finally one morning my step-dad got a call from his sister saying that she had just stopped breathing. It is a terrible disease indeed, but they're so close to developing a cure, did you know?

My grandparents on my mom's side range from 80-90 or so. And they're still kicking. They actually survived a lethal car crash and getting run over by an ATV. On my dad's side they're probably dead, but I don't care. It might seem insensitive, but I dislike everyone on my dad's side.

I found out that my job might make me wake up earlier than I do already. Before I had to wake before 5 since it takes me an hour to get from my home to my work. I worked an early 6 am, but went home at 10 am. I didn't mind, I liked seeing the sun coming up. Now I have to wake up at 4 am to get there at 5 am, to go home at 9 am... I feel as though I can now sleep after work and wake up at like noon as if I was just sleeping all morning... I'm sure gonna miss that sun rise though. But dang, I'm not sure why I need to get to work THAT early... O_O

Today I went to one of the most interesting parties ever. Due to the fact my next door neighbors haven't fully moved in yet, their son, a smart and wild kid around my age, decided to throw a party in their under-furbished home. Being brand-new to the country, I got to invite my friends and organize it (of course I incorporated Italian music for him). The boy learned quickly how crazy my friends and I can be.

Well actually the bridge is called the Charizard Bridge because of it's great beauty and elegance. I can't explain the noise though...

Also, I can't sleep. There's a mouse (more maybe even mice) in the veiling and they're running around. The noise they make when they run bothers the crap outta me.

She's right. The bridge was named after Charizard and the noise is just a little Easter Egg thing. Because clearly Charizard does not exist in Unova.

If we had mice, I'd be terrified out of my mind. I think we even had a dead one in the recycling bin. My mom put it in the backyard so it would decompose. And the basement... no one knows what lives down there...
