Both Eevee and Ho-ohs names are the same when flipped backwards.

Rayquaza: both perch at the top of a tall tower.

Charizard. Both shiny forms are black.

Salamence: Both are based off the archetypal Western dragon.

Dragonite
Basically the 3rd gen equivalent of Salamence

Solrock: Also has one of its types in its name.

Mawile: Also obtained in Diamond and Pearl by having Ruby in the bottom slot.

Sableye: Mawile's counterpart in Sapphire.

Spiritomb: The only other pokemon besides sableye to not have any weakness

Lickitung: Pokemon number 108, a number associated with Spiritomb.

Slowbro: You trade this pokemon in RBY to get a Lickitung.

Mudkip: Slowbro appears at the end of the video So I herd you liek mudkipz.

Ivysaur: Mudkip was featured twice in this thread so far. Ivysaur is 002 in the PokéDex.

Toxicroak: My second favourite pokemon.

Shiftry: Another Pokemon that can learn both Nasty Plot and Swords Dance.

Ludicolo
It's the opposite of Shiftry in Sapphire.

Dusknoir: Also used by Dahlia at the Battle Arcade in Platinum.

Darkrai
It's EVIL!!

Ekans - Asserted that there are no evil Pokémon in "Island of the Giant Pokémon."

Pidgey- The Pokedex states that its eggs are eaten by Ekans.

Caterpie: Eaten by Pidgey.

Golduck: Both have the names of something you can eat in them.

Prinplup: another flightless water bird pokemon.

Blaziken
Another bird based pokemon that went overboard with it's evolutions.

Starmie- A pokemon that has two type advantages over the fire bird.

Slowpoke: I am one, apparently. Also water/psychic, I guess.

Floatzel: opposite of slowpoke in terms of the speed stat

Buizel - Evolves into Floatzel

Walrein: Another water mammal.

Electrode: Also evolves from a small ball

Weezing: Also Explodes.

Skunktank: also stinks

Drapion: Another pokemon that is only weak to ground.

Btw Sableyed, when I saw Electrode the first thing that came to mind was Weezing exploding as well O_O. Creepy.

Vispequen
Another pokemon owned by Aaron that is mainly a deffensive wall.

Dodrio - Has a signature move that involves 3 elements.

Another pokemon you can only find in a tree this Gen

Buneary- Another pokemon owned by Dawn in the anime.

Piplup: Dawn's uber annoying mascot pokemon.

Squirtle: water starter

Torkoal: Another Turtle.

Spinda: A pokemon I've caught about 30 of, like Ash's Tauros.

Sableye
Another one of Sableye's favorite pokemon

Also I'd like to see Brock capture an abmasnow it'll be Brock's Abamasnow

Kyogre: The only pokemon on my original team I haven't mentioned yet, along with Blaziken, Sableye, and Walrein.

Larvitar: A Pokemon who appears in HG/SS's Safari Zone, which Kyogre is near(...if you have HG)

Duskull- Another Pokemon that's final evolution can not have the same ability as its first form did.

Banette
Another pokemon used by Phoebe.

Baltoy: Another toy based pokemon.

Phoebe uses Dusclops.

Starmie- The only other Psychic type outside of Baltoy's evolution pattern than learns Rapid Spin.

I think Phoebe uses both.

Sableye: Another pokemon with gems for eyes.

Azumarill: MY first HM slave in Sapphire.

Medicham- The other fully evolved poke with the ability Huge Power.

Also, how does Grovyle trying for Meganium's love connect to an HM slave?

Tropius is a common HM slave.

Gallade: The other Psychic Fighting pokemon.

Oh ok.

Froslass- The other pokemon that evolves by Dawn Stone.

Rhyhorn: The pokemon Alakazamaster had difficulty finding, like me with Frostlass.
