What is your favorite Pokémon and why? Do you think it's cute? Do you like battling with it? Does it look inspired?

My favorite, obviously, Floatzel. It used to be Buizel, but it had too many rare candies. For some strange reason, I like many of the Pokémon based on weasel-like animals, like ferrets and raccoons. Originally, though, Buizel stood out because it was quite cute, but also cool. As I started training more Floatzels (as they can't stay Buizel forever and still be used easily), I started liking the evolved form more.

However, when it comes to battling, my favorite is Typhlosion. My Typhlosion has high Speed and Special Attack stats, allowing me to effectively use Eruption in a 2v2 battle. I hope the Typhlosion I get in SoulSilver is better than the one I have in Pearl.

I like unown, not because I can battle with it, but because its so... awesome. I mean, it floats and sticks to stuff its like the coolest thing ever, the only down part is it cant battle, and only serves as a side quest for fun... I also like the idea of being able to have it out at all times so I can just reach over and throw it. I actually do have an unown, trained for speed and sp.atk that would be battle-able if it had actual moves, instead of the next best thing, psychic hidden power (its an F!). In game I use them as item storage, I fill up a couple boxes, and store my little used hold items, that way I can get to the bottom of my bag faster. I bet I could like hold a (?) unown and use it like a gun... lol

Magmortar because magmar was one of the first pokemon I saw and I thought it looked awsome. I Think maybe magby is cute. I love battling with Magmortar of course especially becuase it can learn thunderbolt.

Shuckle.
It's just so awesome. It can be used in battles, and it looks like it'd give great hugs, and it comes by to tell you when your sandwich has been out for too long! It is by far the ultimate Pokémon. Evar.

My favorite Pokémon is Charizard :charizard:

Way back when I got my first Red and Blue cartridges, I saw Charizard on the cover of red and thought he looked pretty cool. He became one of my favorite Pokémon and still is today. I like him because dragons are awesome, I like fire types, he looks cool, and can hold his own in battle.

Blaziken is just so badass... It was like...the third generation's Lucario... It's even an excellent battler.

This guy should have been in Brawl.

My fav is Luxray. Just the way he looks, the awesome moves, the cool cry...

My favorite is Farfetch'd :83:-- definitely an odd choice, I know. But I like it mostly for its design and novelty in using a leek as a weapon. Its personality in the show and often humorous PokéDex entries are also pluses. What it comes down to for me is liking Pokémon with creative, cute, or cool-looking designs, and Farfetch'd fits the bill (pardon the pun). That, and I really have a hard time choosing a favorite anything, so I naturally tend to look for something that is unusual or stands out in a good way. I like to think Farfetch'd is a good "fit" for me.

Disappears in water, amazing health for combat, combine that with acid armor, leftovers, and Aqua ring....pwnage.

I have about a bunch of Leftovers imported from other games so I wouldn't know.

My favorite pokemon is Gardevoir.
She's so beautiful and one of my pokemon to definitely have on my team. I just absolutely LOVE her. I don't know what else to say except that she PWNS ALL POKEMON!!!! ok maybe not all pokemon

My favorite pokemon would have to be Swellow. I just really like flying types. Before I would always have spearow in R/B. Then hoothoot in G/S. Then hoothoot again in D/P. I would always have such an unbalanced team with only flying types when I was young. But Swellow is my all time fav.

So epic. I mean, it's technically a Grass/Ghost/Fire/Ice/Flying?-Psychic type, so yeah. It can have the most types.
Ownage.

Veloci, Rotom doesn't change types, it changes forms and learns a move specific to that form.

My favorite is Typhlosion My first pokémon game was Gold and he was the first one I saw. Special atk. soars and having Thunderpunch and Earthquake on him was awesome, plus my mom nicknamed him Fred. Fred's an awesome name

Entei is my all time favorite. But Absol is just. plain. awesome.

In platinum finding them commonly was a huuuge surprise to me~! :3 I just love there in your face attitude and they have the speed and attack to back it up in battle~! =w=

My favourite is Salamence. I mean it's a flying dragon. The old Hoenn region sprite of Salamence looks cool.

Sableye, of course. I had one in my original sapphire, and it was the only pokemon I used along with Blaziken, Walrein, and Kyogre. It has no weaknesses, is immune to 3 types, and can defeat Brawly without even trying. Not to mention it's really cool lookin and has a ruby, sapphire, and emerald on it. I love everything about the little guy!

Below Sableye, I like Blaziken, Togekiss, Quagsire, Mawile, Electrike, Tropius, Spinda, Grovyle, and of course, Mudkipz.

I love Charizard. He's the best because he's fire, he's a dragon, and he's... AWSOME!!!!

Second is a tie between Meganium, Arcanine, Rapidash, Ninetails and Clefable. (in no specific order(besides Charizard))

PS. Clefable is EXTREMELY MANLY!

7. Torterra
Excellent battler, high Defense, small forest on his back. Can carry other Pokémon on its back, and use as shelter.

6. Magmortar
My main battler, high Attack and a few Sp. Atk. EV's. Highest-leveled Pokémon I own (at level 89 currently).

5. Latios
Not as epic as Latias, but he's got some serious Speed. Dang good battler in my book.

4. Charizard :6:
Mainly nostalgic reasons. Since EVERYBODY seems to want me to like him.

3.5. Shellos East Sea
Stupid smileys won't give me the blue one. Anyways, he looks cute. End of story.

3.14. Porygon
Computer Pokémon. Detaches head, blocky and NES-style-like.

2. Furret
Cute, and great for Contests. Have a ferret in real-life, so I know they smell awesome.

THE OBVIOUS 1. Rotom
Electric-type, that's always good. Can get Grass-, Water-, Fire-, Ice-, and Flying-type moves through its 5 other formes, based on common appliances.

My favorite Pokemon, SHOCKINGLY, is Alakazam!

In R/B/Y he was a complete monster, since the Psychic type was so broken back then. In G/S he got even better, since he could learn the elemental punches and a bunch of other moves. I love Psychic types, and Alakazam is and always will be my favorite of them!

Mine is probably Articuno, though I also like Dragonair much.

I'd have to say Blaziken, although the 1st season's legendary birds, Rayquaza, and Charizard are also some of my other close favorites.

My favorite is Jolteon! In the old Gens, he was near broken, a powered down version of Raikou. Speedy and strong, Jolteon is the fav for me!

As previously stated, unown, because it looks cool, and does very little, and most importantly, comes in the F variety.

8. Swampert
Swampert is immune to Electric types, which in every game seem to be my weakness. And it is related to one of my favourite Youtube vids, I HERD U LIEK MUDKIPZ!!!

7. Gengar :94:
I got a plushie of him! He is the first ghost type, and a good battler.

6. Porygons
I'm always on my computer, and these are computer pokemon! Perfect. And according to the Pokedex, Porygon-Z can travel through dimensions. Doesn't that make him a ghost type?

Just plain awesome.

4. Feraligatr
Feraligatr pwns, and is the only good water type starter. (Except Swampert)

They are adorable. I had a Drifblim in Diamond, and he pwned.

My favorite Pokémon is Lapras. I love that it can learn several great attacks and I always find myself using one in just about every Pokémon game. And it can Thunderbolt.

My favorite Pokemon is actually still, Bulbasuar, being one of the first Pokemon I saw (I saw Pikachu first but just ignore that for now) I then became obsessed with grass type Pokemon.

@Rotomguy Only good water starter!? Blastoise was epic! Yeah, piplup sucks, but look at Mijimaru! Well, he looks retraded but I've always loved the runt of the litter.

I just noticed today that I have never posted on this thread. Anyway, my favorite Pokémon would be Lucario. I don't know what it is. I just like it. I have since I've seen it, and Aura Sphere. It's also an excellent battler both in Physical and Special attacks. Being playable in Super Smash Bros. Brawl also adds to its awesome factor. Although, the only thing I have to gripe about it is the shiny color. I don't think yellow does Lucario justice.

What do you think the "Zone" in my name stands for? Magnezonerific!

I got me one and beat the elite 4 with it, but old lady ground made me use empoleon. So did Ronald McDonald.

Absolute favorite since I saw it was Spheal. If Pokabu is really awesome, that MIGHT beat it out, but it's not likely. Spheal is a ball of ice with Ice Ball as an attack! What's not to love?

Riolu's mine favourite. I think it's cute, also being the pre-evolution of Lucario, but can still pack a fight for a first stage Pokemon.

Mew is the best. He can learn any TM/HM move. He is the manliest color there is. He has been cloned, sorta. (Name another pokemon awesome enough to be cloned) He has a long weird looking tail. He can TRANSFORM. I could go on.

Who can forget about Floatzel now? The slick water weasel, orange in color, and just so neat! The list goes on and on for me, but I really think most on these tough, killer Pokés. :3

Lucario, I guess because it's an example of force combines with speed. And because it's my only lv100 in the games.

My favorete is definetly Dragonite or Lucario, they're strong and agile, and have good defence, plus I love Dragon and Fighting type Pokemon, and yes, I know and you know that Dragonite is a Pseudo-Legendary, but it's one of the only decent, non-legendary Dragon-type out there, besides Garchomp.

I'd change my favorite to Psominant, but I would sound like a jerk who only likes myself and besides the fact Psominant isn't real. I must say it is a tie between Magnezone, Gallade, and Blazken.

My favorite Pokemon is most definitely Typhlosion.
1) It looks so completely BA.
2) It's a starter from my favorite generation.
3) It's a Fire-type.
4) Mine has Pokerus (muahahaha) which makes it a complete and total beast.

I love it's design. So much that when I was younger, when I created my wolfsona (Wolfaboo!!) I used the ear and eye design on her... still use it to this day.
I also love how it's a normal type as well, since normal types are able to learn such a wide variety of moves, with so many different types.

However, a very close second for me would have to be Pikachu, because of Yellow version. I still have the same exact file from all those years ago, and my darling Pikachu Mango still kicks major butt!

Now my #1 favorite was changed from Lucario to Pichu (If you didn't know that already.). It's design is awesome, relatively easy to draw and sprite, kicks major butt in Melee (You heard right.), and if I knew the best tier for it, I might be able to pwn a ton of people in battles with it.

I decided that Gardevoir is my all time favorite. Since my 1st Pokemon game was Sapphire. I randomly walked into the grass outside of Petalburg, and bayum. Caught me a Ralts. My Sceptile and Gardevoir made an awesome team.

Lapras! I am also quite fond of Delibird Gliscor Ninjask Gengar, and Charizard

#1 Definitely Entei. I simply love its HG/SS sprite.
#2 Kabutops. It's also one of the starters in my fangame.
#3 Articuno. Such a beautiful bird.

XD Most people totally dis it, but if you bought it from the man in the Pokemon Center and trained it faithfully, you could have a Gyarados before too long. That thing pwns. Pair it with a Rhydon in Double Battles nowadays... Win.

Vaporeon, because I think its beautiful and cause I secretly wish I could swim like that. And spend my entire life in the water...hiding from people. I like a lot of fire and water types though, Suicune Floatzel Kabutops Typhlosion Ninetales Arcanine...

Salamence! That thing is beast. Oddly enough. Squirtle is like my 3rd or 4th favourite.

My favorite pokemon? When it comes to friendship and battling, it would be Latios. When it comes to cuteness, it's Jigglypuff.
