Really close to closing this thread I think it's way to early to talk about this.

I know all chose pokabu as my starter but that's all I know right now.

I'm gonna catch as I go. Just pick my team from what I catch. There aren't enough Pokemon yet to decide.

My plan is get a well rounded team.
So far I have Smugleaf and Luxray. (Yes, I'm going to trade early with HG to get a special level 5 Shinx.)

It's too early to tell but I know for sure that Doryuuzu and Gear's evolution are going to be somewhere in there. Tstuaja (Smugleaf is a horrible name) for one version and Mijumaru for the other.

My team is going to be sweet, I plan to have the water starter's second stage, Pokabu, Smugleaf, That mole thing, that electric dear thing, and the coffin thing. Also I don't use cheats so I'll have 2 trade a lot to get all three starters.

And 3 other pokemon. I may not even use Zekrom if something more awesome comes along. I haven't made an opinion on any of the pokemon released after the corocoro 7 because we know close to nothing about them other than what they look like.

Depending on the trading laws between SoulSilver and Black, and if they're exactly what I'm hoping for, I'm looking to drop five eggs on myself early on, trading away my starter from Black to someone else for something else. None of the starters seem appealing to me.

However, depending on the types of Desukan [Which I am hopeful of Ghost/Rock, or Rock/Ghost], I'll end up sticking to the guns I got now.

I am still deciding, but now, I can say that I will choose Pokabu and Shimama. I don't think that a grass Pokémon will be useful against the gym leaders or the Elite4, so I am not going to choose any grass Pokémon so far. I am still deciding my water Pokémon, especially that I like none. The turtle fossil looks really good, but I need to know its level when I revive it. I am also leaning to Kibago, but I have to see its location first. These are the four I am currently thinking of. Obviously, they might get changed.

Aww yeah. I'm ready to kick some butt with some reliable Pokemon! Yippee!

Hm, it's hard to choose...Jaroda's gotta go in, and I really like Yanakki, but I can't get it if I choose Tsutaaja...Hahakomori would be a little hard to use, and I'm getting White, so Erufuun isn't an option...

Daikenki: Amazing starter.
Muurando: Originally I was going to use Baffuron, but Murrando is available earlier and seems to be more diverse with similar stats.
Doryuuzu: I have to have this. Best Pokemon in the 5th gen.
Desukan: I'll probably teach it Psychic so I can have that type covered too.
Barujina: One of the better Flying types in this gen, and I love Dark. Only problem it seems to evolve hella late, so she might be a pain to raise.
Zeburaika: I don't have a Grass type on me, so I need Zeburaika as a Water counter.

Off-topid: Zeburaika's English name is going to be Zebrike. I'm calling it now.

Okay, I've basically split my game to two halves: one until the 5th or 6th gym, and the other till the end of the game. I'll be using two different teams for each half, not because I want to, but because most of the Pokémon in my actual team cannot be obtained until later in the game.

After hearing that Churine/Doredia isn't the best pokemon ever, and learning that no one in my team can fly, I will reluctanly replace Doredia with Kokokoromi.

1. Smugleaf is a neccesity for it's awesomeness.
2. :shim: is really cute and it's evo is epicly awesome looking. Also a certain someone likes it. x3
3. Ground/Dark is an epic typing and Overconfidence is a pretty sweet ability, if not, Intimidate is great also.
4. Abagora looks like a good Water-type to me. Not much surfing area in B/W but I may as well have a Water-type.
5. Not too sure about Zoroark...as long as I can get the event Zorua mid-game I should be fine, otherwise I might have to replace it with a Pendoraa, which wouldn't be a bad trade off because Pendoraa is EPIC.
6. Onokouso(however you spell it...I think I mispelt Abagora too...) is a great looking dragon, and I used a Garcomp in Pt., another dragon which was great, so this should be a good one to have on my team.

After much review, I've come to the conclusion to use this team! It certainly seems balanced enough, with most type being covered against. Here's to hoping these Pokemon aren't too difficult to get in-game...

Clearly White is going to sell more, because its version exclusives are so much better than Black's! I plan to use Ranculus, Wargle and Zekrom. I'll probably start with Oskawott (Perversity made me not want to raise a Snivy, and I don't want Tepig because I'm certainly using Hihidaruma) Then it's a toss up between Roopushin and Gigalith.

God, I want White Forest, but I want Gochiruzeru too...
