Jus' sum of my artwork. :3

Edited in MS Paint. The modified HUD design uses the colours only found in the original HUD design.

Nothing much, really.

You can see the editing of the Palette lines from the Pokémon Absol and the Pokémon Umbreon. On top of that, new features were added to the sprites. I tried to maintain the Pokémon-style of shading in my edits. Because the sprite changes were minor, I succeeded easily.

I have improved the dithering of Jose from Ninja Baseball Bat Man. Jose, his sprite, and Ninja Baseball Bat Man are copyright of Irem.

I Blame Freeze!

Now, if my Sonic Hack weren't dead and I knew how to program H.U.D on the Genesis, this wouldn't just stay as a mock up. The H.U.D is supposed to look like a video camera. Whenever the game is paused, the play sign changes into a pause sign. The "REC" sign also disappears. The battery icon shows the bosses health (if one is present). The jewel with the signal bars is a Special Stage portal detector. The more bars you've got, the closer you are to a portal to a Special Stage.

Here is the Streets Of Rage / Pokémon Black H.U.D hybrid in action, put on a screen with an edited resolution of 370 x 224, the screen resolutions for the Arcade version of Capcom's Final Fight. This is a mock up, but I thought it'd be nice for you to see the actual layout of the H.U.D. Made with MS Paint.

Those two long health bars show the health of whatever boss there is in the level, once you make it to them. In this case, LugiaDialga, or Mandy, cloned herself twice. Now she's like Mona and Lisa from Streets Of Rage 3! :jchan:

This second mock up showcases what happens when you lose all your lives for each continue. On top of that, the mock up shows what the special attack bar on the bottom left and right looks like when it is empty. It consists of six bars that turn blue. One all six change colour, it says "OK!!" at the top. This feature was taken from Streets Of Rage 3. It was also present in Final Fight 3 / Final Fight Tough, but I choose the Streets Of Rage 3 look.

This is my take on a Pokémon HUD Setup for Battling. I totally enjoyed making it. (I even tried using some of the text for a Sonic the Hedgehog style HUD Setup, but I decided against it.)

This is the banner I made for teamplasma. I felt that in comparison to Reuniclus' Banner, it needed more in the visual department. At that time, I got tired of creating Banners and whatnot, so I kinda fell flat there. I still like it, though.

Ah, I remember this lovely Banner I made for Reuniclus. It took 4 days to get this sucker done.

I took Kid Chameleon from the Sega Genesis and mixed it with Pokemon!!!11!! 8D
